One of the biggest names in local outdoor equipment, Eiger was founded in 1993 by Ronny Lukito in Bandung. 20 years later, the brand has gotten so big that they decided to move their flagship store in Cihampelas to Jl. Sumatra, with Ridwan Kamil, the Governor of Bandung, as the architect. There’s a sleek-looking eatery on the second floor called Kafe Khatulistiwa, where food from across the archipelago is served. Try the Papeda fish in Yellow Soup; a Papuan traditional dish eaten with ‘Sago’ instead of rice.

BANDUNG - Eiger, an outdoor adventure gear brand has now opened its largest store on Jl Sumatera No. 23 Bandung.

The series of events have been organized including Eiger National Climbing Competition, Eiger Imaging Adventure Photo Competition, Adventure talkshow whose summit was held Grand Opening on December 12, 2012. At the Grand Opening of the Eiger with the theme "Eiger Building Achievement Nation".

The event was also attended by officials from KONI West Java and the oldest son of President Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
