Festival Adu Jaten Parebut Seeng

Place of Event: Sindang Barang Cultural Village, Bogor Regency
Adu Jaten is actually one of the rituals at the event of Besanan, where 'seeng' (traditional rice steamer) carried by warriors of the men to be handed to the woman. However, surrender is not granted, as the representative of the woman should take it. Well, this is where the event is seen as people struggle collided dexterity. Seeng is the symbol of prosperity. The more the seeng, it will be more prosperous. It had been used as besanan, but now began to shift toward cultural preservation. Adu Jaten is the only one in the world and original from Bogor.
