Park-hopping among Bandung’s thematic parks
Of the many things Bandung is known for, one of the most recent is the
installment many thematic parks all over the city, some of them
comes with their own wifi connection. These are not your regular
parks, mind. You can catch a local movie on a gigantic screen at the Taman Film
underneath the Pasupati Bridge. Just make sure you check out their schedule
at @BDG_TamanFilm to see what they are playing.
And if you’re a flora lover, go on to identify the thousand different
species of flowers at Taman Pustaka Bunga, right next to Bandung’s most
recently built park, Taman Lansia. There are many more! Here’s a short list of
our recommended parks to cross off: Taman Fotografi, Taman
Musik, Taman Kota Babakan Siliwangi, Taman Lalu Lintas, Taman
Persib, Taman Pasupati. The beautifully set up parks are great for
weekend picnics, especially for those with toddlers who are only starting to
get familiar with their surroundings. These pretty gardens definitely make
great photo opportunities too.
